Riots Reflect The Reality Of Injustice

While the world looks shocked at the outbreak of riots that have occured  in different places of the world, it is a clear indication that riots lucidly indicate an overdue anger and great discontent towards the status quo. Indeed,  riots represent  a segment of a population that feels that they are being unfairly treated, they feel excluded and often discriminated. They are often the underprivileged due to their economic background,  their colour, their age and often their sex. These are causes that linger on and are  passed on from generations to generations, one may say they are inherent  social values, that some claim are hard to change. Since we seem to have a good idea of the causes why can we not find the cure; or do we actually even want to find a cure.Does our present economic system even  allow for an idealistic cure, or is it a pie in the sky. Riots emerge   due to an accumulation of deep social inequalities that have taken place for many years. They  are the products of the past and  without a doubt an ugly reality of the  the present, an eminent   reminder that we are all part of this   deep rooted social and economic problem.
