Outdoor Festival Stages Falling Down
It seems that not only the stock markets are falling down these days but music stages as well. This summer three stages at music events have collapsed along with a video projection screen during storms. The latest incident occurred in Belgium ,at the Pukkelpop Festival. Previous to that a stage toppled down in the Indiana State Fair where some people were killed and some got injured.,then Ottawa Canada a 40- tonne stage fell down. So whats with all these tumbling downs? Clearly something is not going right and as much as we can blame the weather conditions there is enough technology that many manufacturers have to ensure that structures don't fall down and endanger people's lives while trying to enjoy some music events. So lets see some stricter inspection regulations and enforce some high standards so construction becomes safe enough to avoid accidents in the future.

Internships Offer Great Opportunities
Many critics feel that internships might offer great experience opportunities for young people to find out if they are suited for a particular job, but it has become a form of labour exploitation. The fact that the company is not paying the person in internship does not necessarily mean that the individual is being exploited. On the other hand the company is training the individual and that is time and costly for the company as well. In fact many College and University graduates often get job offers with the companies they interned with. It is up to the individual to limit the number of internships they wish to try out for,and and if the companies are willing to accept them that is a win- win situation for both parties. Overall internships offer great opportunities to potential young workers who want to try different jobs in different industries.

Don't Worry Be Happy
In the midst of a slow U.S economy people should focus on positive thinking because the world is not coming to an end. There are many reasons to let optimism kick in about the U.S recovery. For example, U.S homes have become affordable for many Americans as well for investors outside the country like many Canadians who are purchasing in areas like Florida, Arizona, Texas, and California. Moreover, with the significant drop in mortgage rates this will prompt a bounce into recovery. Furthermore, the cost of oil and other commodities have dropped and this should help put some more spending money in the consumer's pockets.Another positive sign large corporations like IGM, Financial Inc, Russel Metal Inc, Saputo Inc, Monsanto Co., legged&Platt Inc. and Dover Corp., to mention some announced early in August dividend increases. Although, it is a volatile economy there are many who always seem to do well, and this is because they take advantages of opportunities. For many consumers an unstable economy is a motivator to tighten their belt and pay down debt and focus on saving more. With the drop of interests and a decline of gasoline prices ,and with a gradual job creation we should all strive to be optimistic about a U.S recovery. So positive thinking and wise spending will set us all to a brighter future.
